Massage Therapy School


600 Clock Hours → 7 months for students attending day schedule → 9 months for students attending evening schedule

img-nailsThe Massage Therapy program at Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers prepares graduates for licensure testing and subsequent employment as a licensed massage therapist.
Using therapeutic techniques, students will learn to work with the muscles of the body and their related tissues to relieve pain and discomfort caused by injury, illness, or stress.

The Massage Therapy Program includes courses on Swedish, sports, chair, and deep tissue massage techniques, as well as hydrotherapy and reflexology. Graduates will have the knowledge and experience necessary to become a massage therapist by taking the state licensing exam and / or the national certification exam which will enable them to work in a variety of settings including spas, chiropractic offices, and athletic clubs. Graduates may also begin their own practice.
