Admissions Event Planning
Q2 Event Planning Page
Welcome, Campus Directors! As we move through Q2, this season for enrollments gives us a valuable opportunity to
retarget, re-engage, and reignite interest with prospective students through creative, campus-driven admissions events.
While lead flow may fluctuate during this season, momentum does not have to. Fun, informative, and well-planned events can help generate new interest, bring back previously inactive prospects, increase referrals, and create stronger local visibility for your campus.
This page is for submitting Admissions Events Only. These events should support lead generation, respark interest, referrals,
tours, and enrollment conversations.
Please note: Any Career Services events should be coordinated directly with Christopher Kraemer, Career Services Manager, and should NOT be submitted through this page.
Why Q2 Matters
Q2 is not the time to go quiet. It is the time to get intentional.
Prospects who did not convert earlier in the year may now be more open to a new direction. Students considering career training may need one more touchpoint, one more visit, or one more reason to see themselves here. Events create those moments.
A strong admissions event can:
– Retarget older leads in a fresh, engaging way
– Bring inactive prospects back into the conversation
– Increase campus tours and enrollments
– Drive referrals from students, grads, and community members
– Showcase programs in a more interactive and memorable format
– Strengthen campus energy and local brand visibility
Event Ideas to Consider
Below are just a few examples of admissions-focused event types your campus may want to consider. You are not limited to these ideas, so feel free to think creatively while keeping your event tied to admissions goals.
Mini Classes
Host a mini class or hands-on demo focused on one specific program to let prospects experience what learning could look like.
Bring-a-Friend Day
Encourage current students to invite a friend or family member who may be interested in training, helping support referrals and warm introductions.
Open House
A classic admissions event for campus tours, program overviews, financial aid conversations, schedule options, and enrollment support.
Barber Battles
Leverage fun energy and community interest with a barber-focused event that creates buzz while promoting training opportunities.
Student Showcase
Let prospects see what students are learning through live demonstrations, portfolios, practical work, or featured service areas.
Parent Sessions
Offer a dedicated time for parents or guardians to learn more about programs, schedules, tuition, financial aid, and career outcomes.
Experience Day
Build a themed visit where prospects rotate through stations, meet instructors, tour the campus, and get a fuller picture of student life.
Marketing Support Timelines
To ensure the Marketing Agency can fully support your event with the strongest rollout possible, please plan ahead.

Full marketing support includes:
– Landing Page + RSVP Webform

Important Reminder
Internal campus events are NOT the only events your campus can do.
Community outreach is a powerful way to increase local visibility, build awareness, and put your campus in front of prospective students who may not yet know us.
Please consider participating in:
– Local job fairs
– Community center events
– Farmers markets
– Festivals
– Neighborhood events
– School and youth-centered events
– Any local opportunity where a booth or table may be available
For any fees associated with external outreach events, please reach out to your VP of Campus Operations, Rene Lezcano, for approval.
High School Outreach Opportunity: April-May Focus
April and May are key opportunities to connect with high school students who may be unsure of their next steps after graduation.
Campuses are encouraged to proactively build relationships with:
– High school guidance counselors
– BRACE advisors
– Career coordinators
– CTE and elective program staff
Consider taking action by:
– Subscribing to local school newsletters
– Participating in school-hosted events
– Coordinating field trips for juniors and seniors to visit your campus
– Providing program information for students exploring post-graduation options
Meeting with high school students before graduation strengthens your Q3 pipeline, a high-start budget time of year.
A Few Extra Ideas
– Alumni Spotlight Events: Bring back grads to speak on their journeys and inspire prospects
– Program Pairing Events: Feature two related programs together to broaden interest and cross-promote
– Theme-Based Events: Seasonal or culturally relevant event themes can make outreach more engaging and memorable
– Instructor Meet-and-Greets: Help prospects connect with the people who would actually guide their training
Submit Your Request
Please complete the form below with as much detail as possible so we can best support your campus event activity, due by the end of the day Sunday, April 12th.
I look forward to working with each of you to create thoughtful, strategic, and engaging admissions events that help drive campus momentum throughout Q2.
